"More From This Series" Enhancements

As of release 1.6, there's an option for a "More from this Series" block at the bottom of each resource in a series. The block is currently simplistic and only displays the first 12 resources, regardless of if the currently viewed resource is #4 or #38 in the series. How could this block be more useful in navigating your resource library?
